China-based smartphone company Xiaomi has launched Redmi Y2 smartphone in India at the event held in New Delhi. It is the second selfie-centric smartphone from the company in Redmi Y series. Redmi Y2 is the successor to last year’s Redmi Y1. The main highlight of this smartphone is that it comes with dual 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup along with 16MP front camera which is capable of Face Unlock feature.

On Wednesday, Xiaomi has launched Mi Video and Mi Music app in India. Both the apps offer free video and music streaming service respectively. The company says Mi Music app is now live and available for all users. Whereas the new Mi Video app will be available in a couple of weeks. However, both the apps are not new but it comes with an updated version only for Indian users.

After launching its mid-range Redmi Note 5 lineup in the Indian market, Xiaomi has again come back with its new budget smartphone. Xiaomi on Wednesday has launched Redmi 5 in the Indian market, which was first debuted in China.
