Asus is back with a new Android Wear smartwatch called ZenWatch 2 . The Asus ZenWatch 2 is available in 2 size that is 1.63” (WI501Q) and 1.45” (WI502Q) and priced at INR 14,999 and INR 11,999 respectively. The design of the Asus ZenWatch 2 is a sleek and elegant where as it also provides the users with a feature-rich experience.
The Asus ZenWatch 2 have a rectangular screen unlike its competitor Moto 360. The WI502Q model which comes with 1.45-inch display sports a resolution of 280×280 pixels(273 ppi) and a bigger model WI501Q which is of 1.63-inch AMOLED display sports a screen resolution of 320×320 pixels (278 ppi).
Asus ZenWatch 2 have Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is very good specs for Android Wear Smartwatch. The ZenWatch 2 uses Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi for connectivty. The watch also features a metal watch crown and a magnetic charger that, as the company says, features effortless attachment and improved battery recharge times. Its battery is said to provide up to 2-day usage and 3-day stand-by time. The watch have a 300mAh battery inside the smaller WI502Q model, while the bigger WI501Q packs in a 400mAh unit.
The new ZenWatch 2 has an IP67 water-resistance rating, which makes it safe even in the shower or during exercise. The Asus ZenWatch 2 is strainght competition to LG Urbane watch and also with the market leader Moto 360 (second generation).
This new stylish upgrade from Asus has made its way to the Computex event in Taipei. The Asus ZenWatch 2 will be available with a 22mm and 18mm rubber and leather straps on Flipkart starting from 5 Januaryand later it will be available Asus Exclusive Store.
