Sony had made quite a stir by launching their selfie-focused Xperia C3 in August last year which featured a front facing camera with flash. And just today, the Japanese manufacturer announced the successor to the C3 in the form of the C4.
The Xperia C4 brings to the table beefier specs in terms of the display and processor prowess, while at the same time retaining the trademark Xperia design that has been tried and tested over a multitude of Sony devices. True to the series title, the C4 is a \’Camera\’ centric device which has a front facing flash – which is a boon for selfie lovers.
The C4 is a dual SIM device that has Sony 3D Surround Technology, NFC and a host of other connectivity options to boot. Apart from these, here\’s a brief overview of all the specs that the Xperia C4 has to offer.
Kicking things off with the major USP of the device, the Xperia C4 has major trump cards in the camera department. The rear facing snapper is a 13 MP autofocus camera with image stabilizer. It features standard features such as HDR, 4x digital zoom, and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The front camera is a 5 MP one with Exmor R sensor and an LED flash on board. Both cameras come with a host of photography enhancements like Style Portrait and AR mask among others.
The Xperia C4 has a 1.7GHz MediaTek MTK6752 64-bit octa-core processor, which is quite an improvement when compared with its predecessor\’s 1.2 GHz Snapdragon chipset.
There is 16 GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded upto 128 GB using Micro SD cards. The C4 also has 2 GB of RAM, which is now becoming a standard in the mid range price bracket.

The C4 has a 2600 mAh battery, which also features Sony\’s Stamina modes, which can prolong the battery life up to 12 hours of talktime and 682 hours of standby, according to the company.
The Xperia C4 runs Android Lollipop right out of the box.
