Lenovo is soon to launch its new device in the country. Titled the Lenovo A7000, this phone packs quite a punch in the sub 10k price range, and offers stiff competition in a price bracket that already sees great value for money devices such as the YUreka and the Redmi devices.
In this article, we take a look at all that the phone has to offer in terms of specifications and features.
Usually, I begin with the display or the processor capabilities, but for this phone, I’ll deviate a little. The major USP of the Lenovo A7000 is the Dolby Atoms technology. This feature equips the phone with stellar audio performance, and it is the first phone in the world to feature this technology.
Coming to the display now, the Lenovo A7000 comes with a 5.5″ IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720.
The phone comes with a powerful MediaTek MT6752m 64-Bit 1.5GHz True8Core octa core processor under the hood, along with a ARM Mali-760 MP2 GPU. Both these statistics promise stellar performance in graphics and overall management of the resources by the phone.
There’s a healthy 2GB of RAM , along with 8GB of ROM. This can be further expanded upto 32GB by Micro SD Cards.
The main camera has a resolution of 8MP , while the front camera has a resolution of 5MP.
The battery on this device has a capacity of 2900mAh. The company promises a standby time of upto 12 days.
The Lenovo A7000 runs the latest variant of the Android Operating System, and has Lollipop straight out of the box.
