Xiaomi MI Mix Fold Launched in China for CNY 10,000

The Xiaomi MI Mix Fold will be the first Foldable smartphone from the brand to be launched. We also have some interesting facts about the smartphone. Since it is a trend nowadays for a foldable smartphone, the MI Mix Fold comes with two displays one on the front which can be folded and can be used as a smartphone. The other on the inside when you open the phone and it turns into a tablet.

The foldable smartphone is powered by a flagship chipset of Snapdragon 888 and comes with a top notch design. It also comes with and innovative camera hardware setup which Xiaomi calls it as Liquid Lens. Lets take a look at the phone in the video below which is published by Xiaomi during its launch event.

MI Mix Fold Specifications

As the display is one of the main features of this smartphone, let’s talk about it first. So the MI Mix Fold comes with a foldable WQHD+ AMOLED Display with 2480 x 1860 dimensions and 387 PPI. The display is also HDR10+ and supports Dolby vision. The smartphone supports a triple rear camera setup which features 108-megapixel primary camera, a liquid lens telephoto camera, and a 123-degree ultra-wide-angle Xiaomi developed Surge C1 ISP.

The foldable smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 888 and is backed by a 5020 mAh battery which seems to be a bit less looking at other phones offered by Xiaomi. However, the phone supports fast charging of 67W and comes packed with Wifi 6, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 Storage.

MI Mix Fold Pricing and Availability

The base version of MI Mix Fold starts at CNY 9,999 in China which is for 12 GB RAM and 256 GB Storage variant. The 12 GB RAM and 512 GB Storage variant is priced at CNY 10,999 and 16 GB RAM and 512 GB Storage variant is priced at CNY 12,999.

The pre-orders will go live for the MI Mix Fold will go live in China from 16 April 2021 through their official MI Website.
