Details of ‘Desh Ka Smartphone’
According to some ongoing speculations, the ‘Desh Ka Smartphone’ is likely to be the Xiaomi Redmi 5A that has already available in China for CNY 599 (approx Rs. 5,800). The smartphone comes with 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The processor pairs with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of Internal storage.
Coming towards design, the device looks very similar to the previous iteration but this time company has used a metal body instead of polycarbonate that was used last time. Unlike the Redmi 4A, the antenna lines have been pushed to the edges of the device, which gives a clean look altogether. The device runs on Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 and packs the best battery.
The primary camera sports a 13 MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and secondary camera comes with 5 MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. The camera comes with all common features like panorama mode, burst mode and HDR mode. There is no fingerprint sensor in this smartphone. The company placed a hybrid SIM tray which can either store two SIMs or one SIM and one MicroSD card.
Many of Indian consumers should be interested in Xiaomi’s ‘Desh ka Smartphone’ as the buzz about this smartphone is relatively strong. If Xiaomi’s budget phone hits the market below Rs. 5000, then it will give an advantage to the company over the competition. Hopefully, you will get the answer about the price range, tomorrow at the launch event.
