WhatsApp Group Video Calling Feature is Now Live for Android

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging application where you can send and receive messages, calls, photos, videos, documents, and Voice Messages. Now WhatsApp has added a new feature which allows users to make Group Video calls. WhatsApp Group Video Calling feature was announced at the F8 developer conference.

With WhatsApp Group Video Calling feature, you can add up to four group members to same video call. This feature is available on Android version 2.18.145 and ahead. However, it seems that this feature is live for limited Android users and not everyone will see it live yet.

How to use WhatsApp Group Video Calling Feature:

  • Download and install the latest version of WhatsApp.
  • Select a person you wish to call and make a normal video call.
  • Now see whether a new button “Add participant” is available on your WhatsApp.
  • After clicking the button, you are now ready to do Group video call with your friends or family.

As this feature is rolling for a selected Android user, so it may take some time to appear for all users. Moreover, if you don’t see the “Add participant” button then you are not lucky enough to use this feature.

According to WABetaInfo, there is no invitation system for WhatsApp Group Video Calling feature. The company also promises during F8 developer conference that this feature will find its way to all devices within a couple of weeks. Also, the Group video calling feature still appears under testing, so the stable built of this feature will be rolling in next couple of weeks.

In addition, you can now see deleted WhatsApp message using a WhatsRemoved app. Do try WhatsApp Group Video calling feature and let us know your feedback in our comment section below.
