The much-awaited Dark Mode feature is finally rolled out by Whatsapp and some of the reports mention that many users have even tested the new feature. The messaging platform has not enabled all the elements but shows the progress ahead of the official release.
In their latest report, WABetaInfo posted on their blog that Facebook-owned messaging app is still working on the Dark Theme of the app and it is just rolled out to some of the Beta testers. However, the official release of the upcoming feature is not yet announced.
According to the report, the latest iOS update will bring the new Dark Theme to the iOS users. So it is expected that iOS might be first to get a wider roll-out of the new feature.
The iOS dark theme is ready, except for:

In their tweet, WABetaInfo addressed some issues that they encountered while testing the new feature. They stated “WhatsApp can fix these in 15 minutes. The real problem is that we don’t know when they will do.” However, Whatsapp is taking a very slow approach towards the changes in the feature. They also addressed one interesting thing that they spotted while testing. The blog said,” When you share something in WhatsApp, for example, a photo from your Camera Roll, you see the Dark Theme!”.
Apart from this, the new update is expected to bring some interesting new features. The app is also expected to roll out the new Delete Message feature for its Android users. The feature will allow to user to automatically delete messages after a particular time period set by the user and make it look like the message never existed.
We don’t know when WhatsApp will actually fix all the issues but the final release should have all the key elements fixed with more interesting features in it.
