Xiaomi has finally launched the most awaited smartphone Redmi K30 on 10th December 2019. The main point of attraction of this smartphone is that it is a 5G smartphone and it includes recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Redmi K30 also has a 4G variant for the people who can’t afford to buy the 5G version of the smartphone.
Last year, the Redmi K20 series received great popularity from the people. Now, Redmi K30 will require lots of riding to prove its success. The successor of Redmi K20 has all the specifications that a smartphone requires to be a value-for-money device.
Redmi K30 Design:
At the back, the coin slot-shaped quad-camera gives the device attractive looks. The back of the device also has a frosted glass finish. The 5G variant of Redmi K30 has a distinguishable 5G logo under the rear camera setup.
Unlike Redmi K20, there is no pop-up camera in the new device from Xiaomi. This time they have come up with a display cutout dual front camera. At the bottom of the device, you get a USB-C port for fast wired charging. There’s a speaker right next to the USB-C port. It’s also great to see Xiaomi retaining the precious 3.5mm headphone jack on the device. The device is expected to come in four color variants namely Deep Sea Light, Time Monologue, Flower Shadow, and Purple Jade Fantasy.
Redmi K30 Specifications:
The Redmi K30 has an FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) display of the phone measures 6.67-inches compared to the K20’s 6.39-inch screen. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device features a Snapdragon 765G SoC where ‘G’ stands for ‘gaming’. The device is powered with a 4,500mAh battery. The Redmi K30 5G packs a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There’s 30W fast charging onboard which, Xiaomi claims, can charge the device from 0% to 100% in one hour. On the software front, the device comes with MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
Coming to the cameras of the smartphone, the device features a 64MP + 8MP (120 degree wide-angle) + 2MP + 5 MP (macro) setup at the back. On the front is a 20MP shooter with a 2MP depth sensor. The camera features Mimojis, RAW format support, Super Night Scene Mode, and other AI-based features.
Redmi K30 Price and Availability:
The Redmi K30 5G has four different variants. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option is expected to cost around Rs, 20,100 while 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option is expected to cost around Rs. 23,000. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is expected to cost around Rs. 26,000 and the 8GB + 256GB storage is option will be costing around Rs. 29,000.
The device is not yet launched in India but it is expected to get launch very soon. Hope Redmi K30 performs very well in the smartphone market and makes its users happy.
