Snapdragon 800 Series to Power New Moto G Phone

Recently Motorola just released Moto G 5G and its not even been a week and it is already in talks with introducing the line of the phone into flagship which will be powered by Snapdragon 800 series. Usually, we have seen the line of phones to be powered by Snapdragon 600-700 which keeps the phone in the budget range, this could be an attempt to make the phone enter into flagship segment.

Frequent leaker Evan Blass showed an image with two selfie camera which is supposedly the upcoming line up of Moto G series and is given a codename “Motorola Nio”. Two selfie camera are featured on the top left corner of the screen as we have seen in OnePlus Nord but the look is quite different.

Leaked Image of Motorola Nio

The image that has been leaked by Evan Blass looks a bit photoshopped and as we say that every leak should be examined with careful observation. It may or may not be photoshopped. He also revealed that the phone will feature 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage which is quite normal with most of the flagship phones. The phone is said to be backed by 5000 mAh battery and will be running on Standard Android 11.

There is still no official announcement on this advancement but if we are to believe this leak then this could be Motorola’s next flagship device. Though, we should keep in mind that Motorola didn’t promise that the new phone will feature Snapdragon 888, all it is known that the series would be powered by Snapdragon 800 series. Now, this could also mean that the phone can be powered by Snapdragon 865 or even 855. We will just have to wait and see which SoC Motorola plans to incorporate in this new phone code-named “Motorola Nio”.
