Reliance Jio Laptop with 4G VoLTE SIM, 13.3-inch Screen may Launch Soon

Reliance Jio is popular for its cheapest telecom services. After launching Jio 4G sim and feature phone, now Jio is reportedly working on Jio laptop. The new Jio laptop will come with 13.3-inch screen size and 4G sim which will allow users to access internet service through the 4G network.


Reliance Jio is planning to launch its new 4G laptop in the Indian market that comes with dedicated 4G SIM. Having a dedicated 4G SIM will allow you VoLTE calls. Also, users don’t require any kind of dongle service for internet connection on their Jio laptop. The aim of the company is to make this Jio laptop for users who always want their laptop with them on every single destination.

In collaboration with chipmaker company Qualcomm, Jio laptop will feature a built-in cellular connectivity and best tariff packs. As per the report, Qualcomm is already working with Reliance Jio to launch another Jio Feature phone. The laptop will run Windows 10 operating system.

Miguel Nunes, senior director, product management, Qualcomm Technologies said in the statement, “we have talked to Jio. They could take the device and bundle it with data and content.”

Jio laptop will support all Android-based Jio apps. The screen of a laptop will come with 13.3-inch full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The company also states that the laptop will have an HD camera that is available on the top of the display. The Jio 4G laptop has Intel Pentium quad-core processor.

According to rumors, Jio laptop will have 4GB of RAM which is coupled with 128GB SDD storage. The body of the laptop is made of magnesium alloy with 12.2mm thickness and 1.2kg weight. Sadly on a laptop, there will be no number pad.

Moreover, the price of Jio laptop will be around Rs. 15,000 in India. After the announcement of Jio DTH, the company will announce the official release date in the month of May. As per counterpoint research, around five million laptops are sold every year in India. So Jio 4G laptop could be the next big ARPU device for Jio telecom operators.
