Redmi’s First-Ever Smart Watch Launched at Around Rs, 3,300

Xiaomi has first time launched a smartwatch under its sub-brand Redmi for the first time and it is called Redmi Watch. The watch is launched in China for now and will go for sale in China through on 1st December. There is no confirmation or reports that could verify that the smartwatch will be available in India or not. The design is similar to the Realme smartwatch that was launched earlier this year with a square design.


The smartwatch is already available for pre-order in China and is priced at CNY 299 which is equivalent to Rs. 3,300 or $45. While at launch, the company also announced that the people who pre-order this smartwatch can avail the product at a discounted price of CNY 269 which is Rs. 3000 roughly. Recently Xiaomi Launched MI Band 5 which supports battery life of up to 20 days.

The smartwatch will go on sale at in China from 1st December and will be available in three colour variants Elegant Black, Ink Blue, and Ivory White. You also have colour options for watch straps which have the same colours as that of the colour variants and two more added variants that are Cherry Blossom Powder and Pine Needle Green.

The smartwatch comes with a square dial that we have seen with Realme watch and offers up to 12 days of battery backup in battery saving mode. It also has seven sports mode and comes with 24×7 heart rate monitor. Some fop the sports mode that the company offers is outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, walking, swimming, and free activities. One of the unique features of this watch is, it supports NFC payment which is quite good.


The watch offers over 120+ face dials that you can set and has 5ATM water resistance. It has a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and has a 1.4-inch display that can be covered with tempered glass. The smartwatch is backed by 230 mAh battery and supports an optical heart rate sensor, six-axis sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and ambient light sensor.
