Redmi recently confirmed that it will be launching Redmi 9 power in India through its event page. The company has created a teaser page on its website to reveals some of the details of the phone which confirms that the device will be packing a powerful battery, display, camera, performance, and many more. This is likely a tweaked version of Redmi Note 9 4G that was released in China.
A known tipster Ishan Agarwal shared the rendered image of the upcoming Redmi 9 Power. The renders show a quad-camera setup on the rear panel with Blue colour on the back. The rectangular camera layout that can be seen in the image is similar to what we have seen in Redmi Note 9 4G which was launched in China last month. The Indian variant has an additional sensor, unlike the Chinese variant. The sensor will be a 2 MP depth sensor which will be replacing the AI logo in Chinese variant.
Specifications of Redmi 9 Power
As we know that the Redmi Note 9 Power will feature a quad-camera setup which will have 48 MP primary camera, 8 MP secondary camera, 2 MP tertiary camera, and 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera of Redmi Note 9 power is allegedly 8 MP and will be backed by 6000 mAh battery which we have recently seen in a lot of smartphones. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662
It is also rumoured that the smartphone will have a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the smartphone. The phone will have 4 GB of RAM and offers 128 GB of inbuilt storage. It will be powered by Android 10 with custom MIUI 12 out of the box. The phone could come with 18W fast charging support through USB Type-C.
