A Pocket app is a place where you can quickly save, discover, and recommend the best interesting stories on the web. You just have to save things you want to read later. The pocket app announced two most interesting feature in Android i.e Continuous Playback for Listen and ability to Highlights Quotes and Passages.
By updating Pocket to version 6.6.3 you can experience the Continuous Playback Listen feature, where Highlights feature is only available for a beta version.
A ton of new improvements for Listen:
In Pocket, Listen / Text-to-Speech is getting a major upgrade. For those who don\’t know what Listen discovered yet, it comes back to your stories which you have been saved. Later Pocket read them loudly for you so that you can keep your hands free for other works like for driving, making dinner etc.
Pocket updates will now continuously read you are saved or random article loudly in a playlist format. You can listen to stories in a continuous way means one after the other. Being in Listen mode pocket will still allow you to browse what\’s next. It supports all of Google\’s voice which helps you to choose high-quality voices but requires Android 5.0 or higher devices.
By tapping the headphones button at the top of your pocket list, it gets started and turn everything in your Pocket to a podcast.
Highlights are now on Android Beta:
Pocket introduce a new Highlights feature for a beta version. In Android Beta, you have the ability to highlight the most important lines or word of the passages. It helps you to find meaningful words, want to remember or to share. You can get that important lines or word which you have Highlighted, in a treasure trove of Pocket.
Highlighting feature is very easy, just long press on the text you want to highlight and tap “Highlight” in the menu section. By Tapping on highlight you can see everything you have highlighted in that particular story. Also, you can see all highlights by filtering your list which is present in the menu below.
