Lenovo owned Motorola has announced a partnership with Twitter to live stream the launch event. Motorola is going to launch Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play smartphone in India via Twitter. The company states that it is the first time to tie up with a social platform to live stream an launch event.
According to the company, the partnership is announced, “with an aim to elevate the customer experience and make a direct connection with consumers”. The live stream of launch event will last for four and a half hours, so people are able to see the unveiling of Motorola phones in the event. The company is calling live stream event as “Moto Showtime” which includes performances by various artists, dancer, rappers, musicians and more.
Rachna Lather, Marketing Head, Motorola Mobility India says, “Through this partnership with Twitter India, we are going to unveil our new products. Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in an entertaining and engaging manner.”
However, people can tweet with #Motog6 and #Motog6play to see the live stream launch event on Twitter. Also, one can get an option to participate in a live conversation about the launch event. In addition, the launch event will be hosted by Manish Paul along with several performances. The list of performers which includes Dharavi Rocks, Oorja Dance Troupe, Sarvam Patel, Jasleen Royal, Raaga Trippin Acapella group and more.
