The wait for Xiaomi Mi Band 4 in India is now almost over. The new band is now finally coming to India next week. Xiaomi India has officially said that the Mi Band 4 will be launched in India on September 17. Xiaomi’s Global VP and India MD Manu Kumar Jain tweeted about the same and shared a short video that confirmed that the company will also be unveiling one smart TV along with the band on the same day.

The 4th edition of the Mi Band has been already launched in China three months back. The band received great popularity in China as it was time that Xiaomi has come up with colored OLED display. In China, the band was launched in two different variants, an NFC variant, and an NFC variant. The pricing of the non-NFC Mi Band 4 was priced at CNY 169 (approximately Rs. 1,700) while the NFC version of the Mi Band was priced at CNY 229 (approximately Rs. 2,300).
It is expected that both the variants of the Mi Band 4 will be launched in next week in India. The new band from Xiaomi is expected to launch in India with the similar price of Mi Band 3, i.e. Rs. 1,999.
Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Band 4:
Ahead of its launch in China, there were lots of rumors and leaks that revealed too much about the new Mi Band 4. As the rumors revealed, the outer look of the Mi Band 4 appears almost like the Mi Band 3. It has a rubber band like the Mi Band 3 but includes a much bigger and also colored OLED display. The new Xiaomi Mi Band 4 sports a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display that has 120×240 pixels resolution and a 2.5D glass protection on top. There is a slight difference in design when compared to Mi Band 3. The new band has the charging pins sit on the bottom instead of on top like in Mi Band 3.
There is a six-axis accelerometer installed in the band. It useful in monitoring physical activities like cycling, exercise, running, swimming, and walking. The device is 5 ATM rated and is designed to identify various swimming strokes, namely freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and mixed-style. With the help of payment mode in the new Mi Band, users can make payments on the go. The user needs to swipe the screen to show the QR code for the screen to make payments.
