The Google Assistant present on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL is more powerful than ever before. It will help you to do the bunch of things with your phone like change phones setting or initiate a conversation. Now you have this feature of Google Assistant which will helps for troubleshooting your device.
The Google Assistant initiates a troubleshoot process right by voice command or by typing using your virtual keyboard. You can ask Google Assistant to check battery life of Pixel 2 and also test the camera. Even check the connectivity of your Bluetooth headphones using this assistant. Using this feature you can set up a phone call or chat with the Google Support team to resolve your issues.
The previous Google Assistant was limited to its functionality which only provides you a list of battery consuming apps. It also helps you to enable or disable feature such as Do Not Disturb and finally it helps you connect with the support team.
Android Police reported on their blog, Pixel 2 XL running 8.1 Android Oreo. Their tipster asked the Google Assistant why the phone didn’t charge fully then they get surprised, as troubleshoot process was initiated.
In coming future, Google may extend the troubleshooting process for all the Android devices. As the upgrade appears to be so far restricted with Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
Earlier this month, Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were reported to have a defect with branded Bluetooth headphones that emerges through Google Assistant. Many Google Pixel 2 XL user also complained about the unresponsive edges on the display panels of their Smartphone. Google had confirmed that it has been fixed both the bugs in a new update and update are yet to be rolled out very soon.
