Nexus 5 is the first smartphone to feature Android Kitkat 4.4 OS which was soon upgraded to 4.4.2 and like it’s previous version Nexus 4 (2012), it also supports to take screenshot easily of the huge 5 inch 1080 x 1920 pixels Full HD display.
Few days ago I shifted myself from the Samsung Galaxy S4 to Google Nexus 5, and the same day I faced an issue of how to take the screenshot on Nexus 5. In my previous Galaxy S4 phone I can easily swipe my hand over the screen an the screenshot was taken but the Google Nexus 5 doesn’t support that.
In major of the phones which have the physical home button, there is a method to take screenshot by pressing the home button and the power button together. But the Google Nexus 5 doesn’t have the home button too. Thus the question arises in the head of new users of Nexus 5 is that – How To Take A Screenshot On Nexus 5.
How To Take A Screenshot On Nexus 5
- Press the Power Button and the Volume Down Button together.
- Wait for a second till you get the border around the screen to flash white.
- Congrats, The Screenshot is taken.
If some how the screenshot are not being taken in your LG nexus 5 than try this steps :
- Power off and start again your device.
- Make sure your are pressing both the button together for about 2 seconds.
Where The Screenshot Is Saved ?
Once you followed the above step the thing is where this screenshot is saved. Firstly, immediately the screenshot is taken, the notification arises of your screenshot which has share button when enlarge it. If by chance the notification is discarded by you than you can easily move to gallery and navigate to a Screenshot folder/album which is created automatically when the first screenshot is taken. there after all the screenshot are saved over there.
