Oppo has announced its new sub-brand Realme in India. At an event in New Delhi, Realme launched its first Realme 1 smartphone on May 15. The phone comes with world’s first 12 12nm AI CPU which carries MediaTek Helio P60 processor along with AI shot technology. The Realme 1 is exclusively available on Amazon India and the first sale of this smartphone will be on May 25 at 12 noon.
The company announced three variants of Realme 1 smartphone which includes 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. However, two variants will go on sale via Amazon on May 25 and 4GB RAM/64GB storage will go on sale in June this year.
Back in February, Xioami launched Redmi Note 5 pro smartphone in India. Earlier the Redmi Note series has never had a serious competitor. But now that’s entirely changed with a launch of Realme 1 smartphone. Also, at a launch event, the company is directly comparing Realme 1 smartphone to Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro. Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch FHD+ display which offers 18:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with Gorilla Glass protection. Also, the Note 5 Pro offers an elongated and high-density display. That means the brightness of the Note 5 Pro is pretty good and can be used in direct sunlight.

Realme 1 smartphone is powered by Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor which is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Realme 1 will comes with latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. As Oppo has its own Color 5.0 OS on top of an Android version which runs with 6GB of RAM. So Realme 1 offer you smooth performance as compare to Note 5 Pro.
Note 5 Pro running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. However, Xiaomi also has its own MIUI 9 which is placed on the top of an Android version. We all know, MIUI interface is very light and offers you a more customizable option on your smartphone.

It has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera for a better selfie. Both the camera offers you professional bokeh effect while capturing the image. With super vivid mode, you can improve the color saturation. As both the camera work pretty well even in low light condition.
On Redmi Note 5 Pro, it has dual rear camera setup. One has a 12MP sensor with an aperture f/2.2 and other has a 5MP sensor with an aperture f/2.0. The Realme 1 comes with non-removable 3,410mAh battery. The phone can last for more than a day from normal to moderate usage which is quite impressive. Realme 1 smartly allocate the users tasks to each core and shut down some apps to improve the power efficiency.
The Note 5 Pro packs non-removable 4,000mAh battery. However, the phone’s battery can last only for a half of a day from normal to moderate usage. Also, the device doesn’t support fast charging, that means it needs good of amount of time which is required to a charged battery to 100 percent.
