Design

The Moto X4 is rumored to be smaller when compared to other flagships which were launched later this year. Moto X4 will have a 5.2inch Full HD screen. There will be a fingerprint sensor on the front just below the screen as we have witnessed in the past devices brought us by Motorola. Moving on to the back, dual camera setup a flash and a Moto dimple which everyone adores.

The Moto X4 will be following the footsteps of Honor 9 and HTC U11 with the reflective glass back. Although, Moto Mods won’t be compatible with this version. There will be a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, next to it will be a USB-C port for charging and data transfers.

Hardware

Motorola Moto X4 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU. Moto X4 is expected to cost around $475 for the 32GB variant and $520 for the 64GB variant, although the prices haven’t been confirmed officially.

The device will be available with 3GB RAM/32GB Storage and 4GB RAM/64GB Storage. Storage is further expandable up to 2TB with a help of microSD card.

Camera

The main selling point of the device is its dual camera setup. Moto X4 will sport a dual camera setup with 12 Mega-pixel lens and 8 Mega-Pixel for wide angle pictures. The smartphone will also have a 16 Mega-Pixel front-facing camera for the selfie lovers.

Moto X4 also allows you to check the blurred effect as you take a picture and you can adjust the intensity of the image before capturing, this feature was seen before in Samsung’s Flagship the Galaxy Note 8. Motorola added that they are testing a software on the camera app and it’s still in beta version, they will be updating it before sending it out to the consumers.
