It will be a fight for the buck when it comes to other rivals in this mid-ranged budget phones and M5 is a sure shot winner. The announcement of M5 launch in India comes alongside with M5 Plus launch in China.
The phone sports a bulky look as it is a phablet of 5.5 Inch Screen size which is Full HD Gorilla glass 4.The phones 211 gm weight is justified by it’s massive battery size of 6020 mAh. With this much battery backup in your phone you can easily ditch your power banks and use your phone without any worries of battery getting drained out. The insides of the phone are the real talking point with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core combined with a 3 GB RAM. It can smoothly perform multiple tasks at a time without any lags, it’s a Gamer’s delight as the phone is highly capable of running almost any heavy-duty game.
It has a regular 13MP rear facing snapper well supported by 5MP front facing one, which can surely provide good looking snaps in medium to low light areas also. It’s running Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box, and supports 4G dual standby which is nowadays a standard for the phones in this price range. There are many add-on features which makes the phone unique including ‘smart awake’ feature which means a pattern of the shape ‘W’ would allow you to open Whatsapp , Wikipedia and other apps starting with alphabet ‘w’, Cool. Isn’t It? The phone allows 32 GB internal storage for your music, movies and videos and is expandable upto 128 GB. So, all sorted in that department. On a scale of 10,it’s an 8 to me and a buy for this range.
So we see the trend of mobile manufacturing companies in order to capture the market, are targeting the below 20K bracket. This trend has not only endured but risen in 2015.What more to expect in the coming year? Let’s just all hope that we get out money’s worth. Till then, have a great NEW YEAR. Cheers!!
