Android Distribution Chart Shows Kitkat 4.4 For The First Time with 1%

Its the beginning of the December month and the Android Distribution Chart has already arrived on Android Developers Dashboard. This is the first time that Android 4.4 that is KitKat have arrived in the list of Android Distribution Chart with the distribution of 1.1 %

Only few models were recently updated to KitKat — Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 7 (2013), Motorola Moto X, HTC One Developer Edition and unlocked models. It will show much bigger impact when the Samsung roll out 4.4 Kitkat Update for tier high end devices such as Galaxy Note 3 , Galaxy S4 .

The Jelly Bean ( 4.1.x , 4.2.x , 4.3 ) has moved to 54.5 % which was 52.1% in the last month. Ice Cream Sandwich distribution has dropped to 18.6% which was 19.8% in the last month, where as Gingerbread has moved  to 24.1% from 26.3%, and Honeycomb and Froyo are about to disappear soon, they have 0.1% and 1.6% Distribution respectively in Android Distribution Chart.

Very next 2-3 months the new Android Version are coming up and the older android Version are getting disappear. The Ecliar and the Donuts are no more displayed in the Android Distribution Chart Since September , at that time the 4.3 Jelly Bean and 4.4 KitKat as about to come into the market.
