How To Fix Mobile Network Not Available Error on Android

Various reasons can create this issue ‘mobile network not available error’. It become more worst when you are in emergency situation and suddenly mobile network goes off. It usually happen because of damage sim cards, Over heating of device, outdated firmware or change in setting of device. Here all the possible solutions to this issue are discussed.

Before going ahead with any method, first check if the airplane mode is off in your phone and if the phone is in roaming. You can check it by going to settings > Mobile networks.

Method 1:

The first way to solve the issue is to select the network operator manually. In Samsung Galaxy you can do this by going to Settings > Wireless & Network > Mobile network > Network operator and select it manually.
It might solve the issue if the problem is due to poor signal.

Method 2:

Changing the battery sometimes can solve ‘mobile network not available error’. This problem also occurs when there is extreme heat generated by the damaged battery. So first check with any other battery and if it works then get a new battery for your phone.

Method 3:

Updating the firmware is the other method that can help you to get rid of the problem. If you are holding a Samsung Galaxy then move to settings > About device > software update > check for update and updates all the firmware. Sometimes the updated versions of the software remove all the errors that you face in the older version.

Method 4:

If you have a blackberry phone then installing a new android battery saver can solve mobile network not available errors . This problem occurs when blackberry forgets to include any settings for runtime.

  • First you need to install an android battery saver / juice defender / or a battery long-live app.
  • Next in this app turn off the mobile network and then enable the battery saver.
  • Then re-enable the mobile network and when everything is done remove or uninstall the battery saver app from your phone.
  • This will solve the error most probably.

Method 5:

The last and final option is to perform a factory reset on your android device. In Samsung Galaxy this is done by going to settings > Back up & Reset > Factory data reset. Factory reset will delete all the applications and programs but it is able to solve any kind of issues faced in android phone.

    I have a note 3 and most of your solutions except for changing the battery are epic fails. Perhaps these work for other members of the Samsung family but I cannot seem to get any of them to work. Need a fix badly
